Camp Rules & Policies

• All dogs must be non-aggressive and not food or toy-possessive. Owners certify by signing this application that their dog has no history of threatening or harming any person or animal.
• Per Connecticut state law (C.G.S. § 22-339b), all dogs 3 months of age or older must be vaccinated against rabies. Camp Pawsome additionally requires up-to-date vaccinations for DHLPP and Bordetella. Proof of vaccination from a licensed veterinarian must be provided before participation.
• If your dog incurs veterinary bills during their time with Camp Pawsome, you, the legal owner of the animal, must pay those bills at drop-off time. Camp Pawsome reserves the right to seek veterinary care for your dog at its discretion.
• Dogs currently ill or injured are not permitted until cleared by the vet or medication has been completed. Owners certify by signing this application that their dog is in good health.

Waiver

I acknowledge that there are certain risks, hazards and dangers, including risk of physical injury, disability, death and risk of loss of use or damage to my personal property, as a result of allowing my dog to participate in this activity. Risks include but are not limited to bites, scratches, being stepped on by an animal, illness or disease transfer, transportation accidents, weather related hazards, and natural disaster, infectious diseases, the possibility of slips and falls that could result in scratches, bruises, sprains, lacerations, fractures, concussions, or even more severely debilitating or life-threatening hazards to my dog.

I understand that injury or loss to my dog may result from unknown or unexpected risks; from the use of equipment, materials, or from facilities recommended by Camp Pawsome, LLC, environmental conditions; from the acts or omissions of others or from the unavailability of immediate/adequate emergency medical care. I understand that Camp Pawsome, LLC does not guarantee the personal health or safety of my dog, nor does it protect against risk or loss of personal property.

I understand that if my dog causes harm to another person, animal, or another person's personal property while participating in this activity, I, as the dog's legal owner, will accept responsibility for all losses and any medical bills, including co-payments and deductables. I will not seek reimbursement from Camp Pawsome, LLC.

I understand that Camp Pawsome, LLC does not assume responsibility for events that are not a part of the activity described above, or that are beyond the control of Camp Pawsome, its employees, trainers, volunteers, or for situations that may arise due to the failure of the participant to disclose pertinent information.

I understand that Camp Pawsome, LLC has the right to ask my dog to leave this activity and restrict participation in future activities if a Camp Pawsome owner deems that my dog's behavior or actions pose a threat to others participating in this activity.
